Tudor Chips was formed in 1998 by Brian Pearson with the intention of manufacturing
and distributing par-fried chips. However, shortly after conception we were approached by Donegal Foods, an Irish manufacturer
who asked us to act as their agents for the South of England. And so, with their product and a lot of sweat
and toil Tudor Chips began it's life as an importer and distributor of Irelands premier chilled potato chip, a brand
that rapidly grew in popularity as did our reputation in the par-fry market. However, a business can not be built on chips alone, and some months later we introduced further chilled
potato products along with some dairy lines which allowed us to reach out to a broader market. With the building of substantial freezer rooms we suddenly became
a frozen food supplier as well. Just in time it would seem as suddenly Donegal Foods announced that it would no longer
be producing their brand of chilled chip. Fortunately, by this time Tudor Chips had earned its reputation as a respected wholesaler and distributor
of chilled, ambient and frozen foods so the effect of this was not as severe as we might have feared. And indeed by now, many more companies were supplying the industry with their par-fries.
Today, we at Tudor Chips Ltd still strive to do what we have always done, and
that is to provide our customers with the products they need along with the service and reliability they demand. We
have always taken pride in our lines and have never willingly sold a product that we consider to be anything less than the
best.
So, here we are, eleven years on, still striving to provide support and service to all our customers,
